Pastor Jack
Rev. Jack Vanden Heuvel,
who is more commonly known as “Pastor
Jack”, or just Jack, was born and raised near Lake Michigan.
He graduated from Calvin College and Seminary in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Before coming to Mason City in 1982, he was the pastor of a church
in Michigan for ten years.
Jack has a variety of interests and passions including photography,
bow hunting, fishing, gardening, tennis, and chess. Jack helped to
start the North Iowa Photography Club. He has shown many of his sight
sound programs throughout the area, and you can read about them on
this site. He enjoys the congregation and likes the Mason City area.
Pastor Jack and his wife, Karen, have four children that are now
out of the house. They have also done foster care for many years.
Karen works part time as a registered nurse.
Counseling
Pastor Jack is always available to individuals or couples who need
someone to talk with.
